All professional groups from the field of rehabilitation (ie in addition to music therapists, also doctors, nurses and therapists from other areas and students or trainees).
What is conveyed?
Neurological Music Therapy (NMT) is the therapeutic application of music in cognitive, sensory and motor function training for neurological patients. NMT is an evidence-based treatment. Treatment techniques are based on scientific knowledge of music perception and production and their impact on non-musical brain and behavioral functions. The spectrum of indications for NMT includes: stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease, infantile cerebral palsy, Alzheimer's disease, autism and other neurological diseases that impair cognition, movement and communication (e.g. multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, etc.). All participants will receive a certificate of participation - issued by Academy for Neurologic Music Therapy.
All certified are registered in the Internet register as members of the RFUnkefer International Academy for Neurologic Music Therapy guided.

Who can practice NMT?
The certificate of attendance enables qualified music therapists (for Germany: check private & academic trainings) to _ practice Neurologic Music Therapy.
All other participants are encouraged to integrate the principles of NMT into their respective professional practice without calling this "neurological music therapy". Music therapy students can use NMT as soon as they have the required minimum degree.
